If the app becomes unresponsive after selecting a user or shows an error message when trying to link your Nintendo Account, follow these steps.
■ Android
1. Close all apps other than Nintendo Music.
2. Clear your browser's cache.
3. Close all tabs on your browser.
4. Select Google Chrome as your default browser.
5. Check if you can access the following link and log in on Google Chrome instead of through the Nintendo Music app.

If you were able to successfully log in on your browser, please try logging in via the app again.
If you are still unable to link your Nintendo Account after following the above steps, try the following as well.
6. In Google Chrome, go to Settings > Site settings, and change the permissions to the following:
Third-party cookies: Allow third-party cookies
JavaScript: Allowed
Pop-ups and redirect: Blocked
7. If you use any of the following types of applications, try temporarily adjusting their settings:
- Security software
- Memory optimizing software
- Content blockers
- VPNs
- Go to Settings > Network & internet, and make sure that Data Saver is turned off.
8. If you have security software installed, please temporarily disable it while linking your Nintendo Account.
*The following steps only apply to users who have developer options enabled.
9. Go to Developer options. Under "Apps," make sure "Don't keep activities" is turned off.
10. Go to Developer options. Under "Apps," set "Background process limit" to "Standard limit."
■ iOS
1. Close all apps other than Nintendo Music.
2. Close all tabs on your browser.
3. Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced. Turn off "Block All Cookies."
4. Go to Settings > Safari. Tap "Clear History and Website Data."
*Doing so will erase all your browsing history, cookies, and other website data.
5. Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced and make sure JavaScript is turned on.
6. If Private Browsing is turned on, turn it off.
7. Check if you can access the following link and log in on Safari instead of through the Nintendo Music app.

If you were able to successfully log in on your browser, please try logging in via the app again.
If you are still unable to link your Nintendo Account after following the above steps, try the following as well.
8. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions > Web Content. Change the settings to "Unrestricted" or "Unrestricted Access."
9. Under Settings, go to Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode) and turn off "Password AutoFill."
10. If you use any of the following types of applications, try temporarily adjusting their settings:
- Security software
- Content blockers
- VPNs
11. Go to Settings > Mobile Data (or Cellular Data), then select "Mobile Data Options" (or "Cellular Data Options"). Turn off "Low Data Mode" if it is enabled.
*Some options may not be available depending on the OS version of your device.
